+ Can I freeze the tortillas?

+ How do I defrost frozen tortillas?

To reheat corn tortillas from frozen, take out and place on your countertop for about five minutes to bring to room temperature. Then heat up with high heat fast. To reheat flour tortillas from frozen, refrigerate overnight to defrost. Flour tortillas can be heated on medium-low heat, or for a charred flavor heat over open flame until brown spots form.

+ How long do your tortillas last?

We mark every package of tortillas with a best by date of 3 weeks from the date of manufacture for corn tortillas and 4 weeks for flour. Don't forget, if you're running close to the best by date the tortillas freeze well.

+ How do you heat the tortillas?

The key to heating corn tortillas is to heat them fast over high heat. We recommend a pre heated cast iron pan but any hot cooking surface will do. Serve immediately or you can place in a tortillero to keep warm. When we have taco parties, we like to heat them up and then place in a foil wrap in 3s. Then people just grab a pack of 3 and the tortillas stay soft and warm. Taquero tip: you can use butter or oil to help heat fast and stay soft. This will mimic the process you see on a taco stand.
